Efficiency and affordability were two of our main goals with this project. We explored these concepts through alternative design, applying uncommon materials in new ways. Some of the materials, such as the board and batt siding, checkerboard VCT flooring, and recycled doors, hark back to the days of old. Other features, like the corrugated metal siding and bamboo flooring, give this time-honored, ‘bungalow’ style home a modern interpretation.
