This project consisted of an addition/renovation to an existing home in the Bridger foothills. The original building was built over 100 years ago. We began the project by moving the house off its existing stone foundation, stripping off its siding and roofing, and gutting the interior of the structure completely. The old foundation was replaced by a new foundation with a full basement. The kitchen, dining room, and living room areas were then enlarged to make the home more usable for a young family. Today, the modern farmhouse style fits nicely into the rolling countryside. The kitchen incorporates granite countertops and a farmhouse sink with antique cabinets and a contrasting black island. In the master bathroom, antique cabinets and a claw-footed bathtub blend with the modern, granite-tiled shower.
